Water is rare on these islands. Some services such as cashpoints are absent on Port-Cros.... Let’s review the situation!

Port-Cros island may only be visited on foot, kitted out with good walking shoes.

The only drinkable water point is situated in the fort of L’Estissac. That is why it is preferable to make sure you do have in your backpacks.
For yachtsmen, water supply is scheduled in the end of the day on the harbour. It is of around 20 liters per boat. Timetable is to be asked at the harbour master’s office.
Beaches and some paths are quite difficult to access for persons with reduced mobility, young children and pushchairs, it is recommended to take all necessary information before wandering in any route.
In any case, it is important to take with you suncream, sunglasses, and why not a small first aid kit (with bandages, disinfectant, antiallergic ointment…).

Please be careful! Jellyfishes may be there! In August, many horseflies are on beaches! Allergic people, please refrain from coming there!
And do not forget, pets, even kept on a leash, are not allowed in the natural areas.
